Portfolio

On this page you’ll find examples of the work I completed during my time at Scottrade. I have been significantly involved in rebranding Scottrade’s platforms and user-facing websites, from conceptualizing designs to writing code. I have experience creating wireframes/mockups, developing style guides, writing CSS, and working with third-party vendors to identify goals and deliver a final product that fits our clients' needs.

Redesigned Post Login Experience - July 2016

In 2015, I sent a proof of concept showing what CSS we could change in the post-login environment to update the accessibilty, user experience, and overall branding. In 2016, with the collaboration of multiple departments and numerous third-party vendors, we implemented my proposed changes to give the post-login experience an update.

Scottrade Advisors Rebranded

As news of our post-login redesign/rebrand spread, our Advisor Services team contacted me to consult with them on rebranding their site. So later in 2016, I managed all design work and provided real-time feedback throughout their development cycles.

Careers Site

When we decided to rebrand our Careers site in 2016, we wanted to build a website without making too many new AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) components. Since the site would need to be quickly updated, we didn't want to overcomplicate things by creating a lot of new components that website authors would need to learn. In total, there were only 3 new components needed for this site, all of which I helped test for WCAG AA adherence, (UX/Acessibility guidelines) to remove any potential roadblocks our clients could encounter when viewing this content.

Scottrade Bank

In 2013 I was asked to build a Scottrade Bank presence via our Content Management System to easily maintain and update the client experience. Using existing components, I built a site that felt familar but looked new and clean.
